USA Today's Top 25 Lists
My favorite procrastination activity is web surfing. And these days, thanks to the world of xml feeds, I am constantly being distracted by cool stuff on the web that I might not have found otherwise.
So the other day, I noticed that one of the feeds at the top of my Gmail had to do with a USA Today list of top 25 influential books over the past 25 years. I clicked on the link (I'm always looking for suggestions of good books to read).
Well, to celebrate their 25th anniversary, over the next 25 weeks, USA Today will be posting 25 "lists" of top 25 "things" from the past 25 years. Too cool!! (I'm totally a list person!!)
Currently, I'm looking through the list of top 25 trends that change the way we live in the U.S. (from the first week). The second week is a list of 25 memorable quotes. The list of influential books is the third week. Still waiting to see what they do for the fourth week. Check it out!

Bob Schieffer's Last Newscast
Yes, I'm one of those. The television is always on in the background. It's usually just for noise ... and sometimes when I'm doing mindless chores, I'm actually listening. I stumbled on this youtube video this morning, and wanted to share it with you. It's one of my favorite moments in television. I know ... probably not on everyone else's list of favorite television moments. But I think Bob Schieffer is one classy guy ... and this final broadcast really accentuates his classiness! Enjoy!
