Forgetful Jones

Okay, I know that I indicated that I would be continuing with the "Advent" posts ... but the Advent season got WAY too busy for me, so I got away from posting. Thus, I'm going to abandon the Advent posts, as well as the Christmas Carol lyrics that I was going to share with you, and tell you about Forgetful Jones. :-)

This is a picture of my colleague, Tom Weber, who teaches Geography. He and I have taught on the same team for ten years. (!!!) He's rather easy going, as you will see as you continue to read. I have to credit my former colleague, Kate, for this idea. Kate found some free downloadable coloring book pages online a couple of years ago. One of the pages that she found has this Sesame Street character, Forgetful Jones. Well, as a coloring book character, the kids (!!!!) seem to think that Forgetful looks like Mr. Weber. SOOOOOooooo, with little encouragement from Miss Aepelbacher, they took a whole bunch of photocopied copies of Forgetful Jones and decorated Mr. Weber's windows to his classroom. Photos follow....

I will make every attempt to update once or twice while I'm in Buffalo for the Christmas Holiday, so please keep checking back. Meanwhile, Merry Christmas!!
