Go Nats!!

I have been told that apparently no one cares about my post about Phil Mickelson. (sigh...) So ... I thought I would post about something that I know that some of you care about. I finally got out to see the Washington Nationals. Friday evening I was planning to treat a friend to dinner for her birthday, when a colleague GAVE me her season's tickets for the game (because she and her husband also have season's tickets for the Redskins ... both had games that night ... and the Skins won out), I decided to combine dinner with a night at RFK. The Nats won big, and we had a great time (and great seats, by the way!) Thanks, Mary! And ... GO NATS!!!

Yay, Phil!!

So, of course, you aren't surprised that I have to mention my boy, Phil, and his win at the PGA Championship this past weekend. I hope that you remember that I met Phil and his wife at a teacher recognition ice cream social in June. I even received a professional photo in the mail of the three of us, autographed, of course. What a class act he is. While I was watching the tournament this weekend, the announcer commented that when Phil stops to sign autographs, he will sign and sign until every single person who wants an autograph has one. If it takes hours, it takes hours, but he won't leave until he's done. Class act!

I'm Home!!!

Okay, Okay ... here you are. I'm home. My goodness!! Can't I even settle in, get past the jetlag, catch up with friends?? Well ... I appreciate that you guys missed me (I think!), so I'll make a couple of quick comments and hopefully make this a short post. First of all, I have made a final post to my EuroBlog, so if you've been following it, you'll want to go there and read some last things. Secondly, I've also put a few pictures online, so you can try this link to see them. Enjoy!!

Finally ... why shouldn't Mr. Blake's name come up all over the place? ;-)
