Some notes about the July
images:
-
There are several pictures of
a great learning opportunity with a frog that hopped into Ian's sandbox
in the backyard. The excitement and enjoyment of that was wonderful
for Ian.
-
There are a few pictures of Ian
and his mother and father playing with a baseball pitching machine that
his grandmother Aepelbacher gave him. He's a left handed batter (and
golfer) ... I think that his father imagines him making the major leagues,
big time!!
-
There are four pictures of Ian
titled "Peekaboo". I took out my camera at one point, and when I
put it to my face he thought I was playing peekaboo. I got some fabulous
closeup shots of him smiling and laughing at Aunt Lou Ann!!
-
The last picture is one of the
peekaboo pictures that I tried to "doctor up" in my photo editing software.
It's more of an artististic approach from a non-artist. :-)
Let me know what you think.

Some notes about the November
images:
-
The twins were baptized the day
after Thanksgiving. Mom and I drove down that morning, there was
a luncheon (thus several restaurant pics) and then the ceremony itself.
There are several pictures of Ian with other little boys (and a little
girl, too). These are his cousins from Danielle's side of the family.
-
At the baptism, I was designated
as Will's "Godparent" or "Witness". Any pictures from the church
that are of me holding a baby ... assume that the baby is Will.
-
Grandma Aepelbacher brought a
book with pictures of Alaskan wildlife for Ian. He was enthralled.
That's what they're looking at together in a couple of the pictures.
-
There are two pictures of Danielle
with her brother, David. And, in a couple of the pictures from the
church, you will see Danielle's mother and father (her father is in the
pictures with me, as he was Will's other godparent ... David and Danielle's
mom were Aaron's godparents).
-
Yes - I tried some more artistic
black and white versions of images of Ian again. He's just a great
subject for playing with these pictures. Again, let me know what
you think of them! :-)
-
The last four pictures are of
my best friend, Carolyn, and her husband and three children. I saw
them for a brief time on Thanksgiving Day and wanted to include their pictures
here. :-)
