Conde Nast Traveler
So, about three months ago I got a call from a writer at Conde Nast Traveler who said that she had stumbled across my website about my trip to Alaska back in 2003. She was going to be writing a piece about the Alaska State Ferry system and wanted to do a telephone interview with me about my experiences. So, after two different telephone interviews, the piece is currently in the July 2007 issue of the Conde Nast Traveler, which I have actually seen in the grocery stores. And they even use my name! :-) It's a short piece, not really an article, but more of a side bar (but with two columns!) ... and they really did quote me several times. LOL!! They said that I'm an elementary school teacher ... and it should say "Middle" ... but so what! It's just fun to see my name in a magazine! Next time you're at the grocery store, take a look! :-D
