Just a quick note to let you know that the next time I post here will hopefully be from France. Some small internet cafe somewhere. Hopefully with a croissant and a cappacino nearby. :-)
In the meantime, let me give you a quick refresher on blog comments. First of all ... please leave me comments. I don't want to be lonely over there, travelling quite often by myself, in a couple of countries where no one speaks English (it's my own fault that I don't speak French or Danish!) But, please make sure to leave me comments. Yes, they are publicly viewable (if you have something super-private to say to me, just send an e-mail). No, you don't have to be a member of "blogger" to comment (but it would help if you remember to sign your comment). In fact, you could even get little comment-conversations going. Wouldn't that be fun? And, when I'm online, I'll reply to your comments with more comments. See how the whole comment thing can snowball.
Okay, then - I'll try to post (even if it's real short) when I've arrived (scheduled for Monday afternoon) so that no one has to worry (you know who you are!!) Have a great July back here in the States!!

Do you think Lou Ann noticed yet? ...Since it says "0 comments", she might think she doesn't have any, and never checks.

Good morning LA....I still don't know if you're getting my comments as they don't seem to be appearing when I check on your comment site. I can't imagine writing all this "stuff" to you and not having it done right so that you never get to see it. Let me know whenever you can.
Today is x-ray day. I need to get that done and out of the way.
We are finally having some rain.....that first in many, many days and it's really just a little bit of a drizzle. We've had 4 days in a row of 90 temps.....awful!
I think I'll start a puzzle today. I haven't done one in a long time..... miss doing that.

Maybe my other 2 got lost because I didn't know what I was doing?
After I got my transmission in the car fixed on Monday, I had a problem with a closet light.....have the electrician coming. Then yesterday I had a plumbing problem, so Kenny worked on that last night. That makes 3 problems this week.....they say "3 times and out", so hopefully everything will be OK for a while. I really can't believe all that.....

I think I found your other comments. Each post that LA makes has a "comments" section under it. So these comments are her "Prologue - Lorton, VA" post. I found some of your other comments under her "The Planning Stage" post. Now, if she ever posts again ;-) there will be a new set of comments.
I do hope she made it over there okay, I'm assuming so, or else your posts wouldn't be so cheerful.

This is Marvelous Mom with a message for all of you. Lou Ann called me this morning (6/29) while I wasn't home to ask me to please send out another comment telling everyone that she is perfectly OK......has been unable to find an internet place to send out a message as she has been visiting little out of the way places. So, she says......."please don't worry...everything is fine and dandy!!!" She was in Alsace Loraine (I don't know if I've spelled that correctly and I'm too lazy right now to look it up) when she called.

Getting ready to go out to breakfast with Joanne Breissinger. That's always a good way to start the day.
Started the new Patterson novel yesterday ("4th of July"). I'm really enjoying it and am about 3/4 of the way through it already. I figure the title means it should be read RIGHT NOW!!! I was up at 3:25 a.m.this morning anxiously turning pages to find out what happens next.
Another hot steamy day, but then we will have a few days of cooler weather......thank goodness!! Much more of this heat and I'm going to be just a grease spot on the pavement!
Have yourself a "goodie".....
